If you want to start blogging, try starting with blogger (www.blogger.com). It is a blogging tool that is owned by Google, so it automatically works with AdSense. Basically, you start a blog on blogger using your google account. Then, you go to settings, add a sidebar, and choose that sidebar to be adsense. Google will set you up with an AdSense account, which will give you some $0.02 cents for every person that clicks an ad on your page. This may seem like nothing, but it can add up to a lot. Some professional bloggers can make up to $1500 a month, just on clicks.

However, do not get carried away and start clicking your own ads: Google is really smart with IP addresses, and will figure out what you are doing and close your account/blog.

The money that you get from clicks comes from companies that want to advertise over the Internet. They will literally pay for people to just LOOK at their website, because a couple of the people that look at their website might be interested in buying their product.

If you are interested in starting a blog, try making one on something that a lot of people are interested in, such as politics, humor, religion, philosophy, controversy, gossip, etc. There are a lot of blogs out there, so try to make your blog as unique as possible.

But most of all, do it for the fun. I make about 4 dollars on adSense each month, which is nothing, but it still motivates me to keep blogging.
